We are pleased to announce that we have now won our sixth Good Food Award in six consecutive years. The Good Food Awards were founded back in 2002 as an independent industry marker to recognise those who strive for culinary excellence and high standards within their working environment. 

There were over half a million UK establishments in the running for the award this year and they are scored on several factors including: 

• Food Quality and Menu
• Food Hygiene Score
• Consistent positive customer feedback
• High scores on the Judging Panel scorecard

“It’s been a tough year for the whole industry, so It’s fantastic that our team has received extra recognition via this award. It’s incredibly important that we maintain our excellent food, service and quality standards no matter what is thrown at us during these unprecedented times” said Vito the owner of Buongiorno Cafe. 

“We receive consistent feedback from our customers which allows us to maintain our high standards. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout this pandemic, we could not have made it through the year without you. We will do what we can (within the guidelines) to remain open for our customers in the safest possible way and we are hopeful to open for dine-in table service within the next month or so” added Vito.

Buongiorno Cafe currently operates as a takeaway/collection only service. Our current opening times are:

Monday - 9am - 5:30pm

Tuesday - 9am - 5:30pm

Wednesday - 9am - 5:30pm

Thursday - 9am - 5:30pm

Friday - 9am - 5:30pm

Saturday 9am - 6pm

Sunday 10am - 5pm

We will of course review our ‘Takeaway/Collection Only’ arrangement around the 12th of April 2021, once we have further updates from the UK Government on the lifting of lockdown restrictions.
